

Rana Madanat, Founder and President
Born and raised in Zarka Jordan, Rana moved to the United States in 1987 where she studied early childhood education and worked with preschoolers. Madanat is the proprietor of a successful café in Ross, California and the mother of three children.
Theresa Henderson, Secretary
For over 10 years, Theresa has provided administrative support in the corporate and non-profit sectors. Currently, she owns a therapeutic bodywork practice in Ross, helping clients recover from injuries and regain their health.
Deborah Fox has been an integral team member with the Bay West Group, a San Francisco-based real state investment and development company. Currently, she is executive assistant to the chairman, as well as facilities manager for major commercial real estate operations. She also has been a dedicated fundraiser for schools in Marin County, California where she resides.
Debra Knowles has served as the executive director of Bon Air Cottage, a non-profit mental health foundation.
Ginger Gmahling has worked in variety of industries, including banking, computers, and consulting. She has been a bookseller and event host for the one of the nation’s top independent bookstores, Book Passage, in Corte Madera, California. Currently, she is an administrator in a medical office.
William B. (Nick) Niccolls is an independent business consultant in Seattle, Washington. A graduate of Stanford (BA) and the University of Washington (MBA), he has a lifelong fascination with the "global overlap" of economics, science, education, government, and the environment.
Carmena Henry graduated from Mills College, Oakland, California, and is manager of the University Book Store, Bellevue, Washington, where she was also the children's book buyer.

Dr. Nancy Brown is associate professor and founding director of the Toppel Family Early Childhood Institute at Florida Atlantic University. A recognized leader in the field, Dr. Brown has worked in education and been an advocate of children’s rights and literacy for the past 35 years.
Sara Niccolls has worked in the healing arts in various parts of the world, including Australia, Kenya, Israel, and the United States. A graduate of Stanford University, Niccolls has devoted years to studying and learning from indigenous people including Aborigine, Maori, Native Americans, Mayan, Queschuan, and Guryamu. Currently, she teaches groups and works privately with individuals. Prior to this, she sold commercial real estate in New York City and California.
